Beyond Capital Partners Fund II, a fund advised by the investment company Beyond Capital Partners GmbH (“BCP”), has acquired 100% of the shares in Düsseldorf-based S&M Services GmbH (“S&M”) via its portfolio company Dr. Hoffmann Gebäudedienste GmbH (“Dr. Hoffmann”) by acquiring 100% of the shares in Düsseldorf-based S&M Services GmbH (“S&M”). Following the acquisition of Gebäudereinigung Daniel Baumann GmbH (“GDB”) in November 2022 and the acquisition of Clamex Gebäudereinigung GmbH (“Clamex”) in June 2023, Dr. Hoffmann is continuing its nationwide growth strategy.

With the acquisition of S&M Gebäudereinigung GmbH, founded in 1994, the Dr. Hoffmann Group has extended its national reach and is now active nationwide as a facility services specialist with around 3,000 employees in 140 cities and municipalities for its customers from the public sector and large companies. The complete range of services includes the classic areas of maintenance cleaning, facility services and special cleaning as well as events, catering, feel-good services and janitor services. Individual cleaning concepts, state-of-the-art cleaning equipment, sustainable products and the highest quality standards are the hallmarks of Dr. Hoffmann’s service portfolio.

The 50th anniversary edition of the International Festhalle Riding Tournament Frankfurt (IFRF) will take place in Frankfurt am Main from December 13 to 17, 2023. Every year, equestrian fans and the world’s equestrian elite meet in the festively decorated Festhalle in Frankfurt shortly before Christmas. This year, Beyond Capital Partners is one of the official sponsors of the high-class equestrian event. National and international riders at the highest level will take part in dressage and show jumping competitions. In addition, up-and-coming riders and -horses show off their skills in their own special competitions. The IFRF is organized by “Schafhof Connects”, the agency of the Linsenhoff-Rath equestrian family, which is known worldwide in equestrian sport and has been successful for generations.

Another highlight of the International Festhalle Riding Tournament Frankfurt is the children’s home competition, which is presented by Beyond Capital Partners. Christoph D. Kauter, Managing Partner and founder of Beyond Capital Partners, will take part in the award ceremony and personally present the honorary prize to the winning children’s home on Sunday, December 17:

Beyond Capital Partners Fund III, a fund advised by Beyond Capital Partners GmbH (“BCP”), acquired a majority shareholding in ECD International Holding GmbH (“ECD”), based in Stuttgart. The closing took place on August 31, 2023.

ECD International Holding GmbH was founded by Alexander Osterwald and Jörn Pfotenhauer in Stuttgart in 2004 and is a multidisciplinary and international full-service agency with proven expertise in the premium and luxury segment. Beyond Capital Partners Fund III, a fund advised by Beyond Capital Partners GmbH (“BCP”), acquired a majority shareholding in Holger Grelck Forstbaumschulen GmbH (“HGF”), based in Halstenbek near Hamburg. The closing took place in September 2023.

HGF is one of the leading German forest nurseries for the cultivation of premium forest seedlings and grows many millions of seedlings annually on more than 100 hectares, on which a wide range of tree species, including sweet chestnut, oak, spruce, service tree and Douglas fir, are nursed. The forest tree nursery has been supplying municipalities, states as well as other nurseries and private forest owners since 1938 and has grown continuously in recent years.

Forest tree nurseries are an important subgroup of tree nurseries and operate around 12% of Germany’s total tree nursery area. Overall, forest nurseries play a central role in the fight against climate change, as they are an integral part of the reforestation of German forests. At the same time, they enable companies to become more sustainable and achieve climate targets. Demand for seedlings for forestry plants has risen accordingly. The German forest relieves the atmosphere of 62 million tons of CO2 every year.

From 9 to 11 June, the low goal polo tournament of the Frankfurt Polo Club took place in Frankfurt Nied near the Nidda, bringing together polo enthusiasts from all over the world. The tournament is known for its low handicap level, which means that both experienced players and up-and-coming talents have the opportunity to participate and demonstrate their skills. The games are characterized by speed, precision and tactical thinking, while the players try to get the ball into the opponent’s goal with their polo bats.

Beyond Capital Partners Fund II, a fund advised by the investment company Beyond Capital Partners GmbH (“BCP”), has acquired 100% of the shares in Braunschweig-based Clamex Gebäudereinigung GmbH (“Clamex”) through its portfolio investment Dr. Hoffmann Gebäudedienste GmbH (“Dr. Hoffmann”) and continues its expansion following the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Gebäudereinigung Daniel Baumann GmbH (“GDB”) in November 2022. The closing took place on June 5, 2023.

With this takeover, the entire Dr. Hoffmann Group is developing into an integrated facility cleaning specialist, which, with 2,400 employees in large parts of Germany and in around 100 cities, reliably and trustfully supports its customers from the public sector as well as (large) companies as a professional B2B service provider.

The complete range of services includes the classic areas of maintenance cleaning, facility services, special cleaning, service personnel provision, event and catering as well as janitorial services. Individual cleaning concepts and state-of-the-art cleaning equipment are just as standard as the implementation of and compliance with ESG-relevant criteria. As early as 2021, Dr. Hoffmann became climate-neutral.

With the acquisition of Clamex Gebäudereinigung GmbH, founded in 1973, the Dr. Hoffmann Group expands from southern Germany into large parts of the northern federal states, thus expanding its national reach as well as the relevance of being able to be active for its customers as a nationwide facility cleaning specialist.
