Xortec GmbH continues its market expansion through next add-on acquisition, strengthening its nationwide presence

Xortec GmbH (“Xortec”), headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, continues to expand its nationwide presence as a provider of network-based security solutions. Following the successful acquisition of Berlin-based Burgenkönig Video GmbH in January 2021, Xortec is now acquiring videotronic infosystems nord GmbH based in Hamburg, with economic effect from 01st January 2022.
With locations in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin, Xortec now belongs to the group of leading distributors for video security on the German market and underlines with this current acquisition its regional expansion strategy as much as its leading role as an innovative complete solution consultant and independent provider for network-based security technology in Germany.

The management of Videotronic Infosystems Nord GmbH will be performed by Xortec’s Managing Director, Michael Schaller. He is taking over the responsibility from Marcus Plüschau and Hans-Jürgen Pott, the former Managing Directors of the company. Both will stay in the company and focus on sales and organisational tasks.
Since January 2021, Xortec is a portfolio company of a fund advised by Beyond Capital Partners. “As an investment company with a focus on German-speaking SMEs, our goal is to further expand Xortec’s market position in the DACH region through suitable add-on acquisitions.
