A fund advised by Beyond Capital Partners („Beyond Capital“) accomplished the closing of the acquisition of a 75.1% stake in LDBS Lichtdienst GmbH („LBDS“).

LDBS is a leading one-stop-shop lighting technology specialist in the German speaking region and provides a complete service portfolio in the field of lighting for B2B customers in Retail and other industries. With its integrated service concept, the company offers a unique position compared to its peers, comprising a combination of the entire value-chain for lighting solutions, an in-depth product expertise and a one-stop service and maintenance approach. Additionally, LDBS uses its online platform to market a broad product portfolio that distributes lamps, luminaires and technical components.

Together with Beyond Capital, LDBS achieved already first milestones in its target to develop new market segments and to expand its geographic coverage.

Through notarization, a company advised by Beyond Capital Partners („Beyond Capital“) acquired a shareholding in LDBS Lichtdienst GmbH („LBDS“).

LDBS is a leading lighting technology specialist in the German speaking region that distributes lamps, luminaires and components and offers a complete service portfolio in the field of lighting. With its integrated service concept, the company offers a unique position, comprising a combination of trading, in-depth product expertise and a one-stop service approach. Additionally, LDBS uses its online platform to market a broad product portfolio.

Beyond Capital is an investment company focusing on the acquisition of majority shareholdings of profitable small- and medium enterprises in the German speaking DACH region. Together with Beyond Capital, LDBS intends to access new market segments and an expansion of its geographic coverage. Furthermore, the management of LDBS remains under the responsibility of the founders and shareholders – Robert Bechtle und Bernd Schwettmann – who successfully developed LDBS over the past 15 years.
